Over the past year, I have signed up to MANY websites for great deals on baby products, products for myself, deals/savings on groceries and I love the websites where you can get free samples on personal or home items and where you can test products and review them. Of course, I still sign up for websites that I just love to shop on, deal or no deal, and I thought I would share:
Testing Products:
- PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved): I absolutely love this website! I kept seeing the PTPA stamp on a lot of the products I was buying and immediately googled it. I found out that this is a great resource for those who are thinking about buying a product and are unsure whether it is good or not. You can look the item up on their website and see the reviews by moms. This brings me to the next reason I love this website, you can sign up to be a parent tester! I love stuff like this so I signed up when Frankie was a few months old and I got my first product 2 months ago and loved reviewing it. - Today's Parent (magazine): A great magazine! If you havent subscribed, I highly recommend. One of my favorite sections in this magazine is the page where mothers review the products (this is where I found my beloved Groblind). You can sign up on their website to be a product tester though I have yet to be chosen :( http://www.todaysparent.com/
- Mom Central Canada: A wonderful resource for moms. They have product testing (however I have yet to be chosen :( ), savings, coupons and a mom community. I recommend subscribing to the website. http://www.momcentralcanada.com/
Mommy Deals
- Sweet Mommy Deals: A personal FAVORITE of mine! When I was pregnant, I couldn't understand why there wasn't a 'deals' website out there for new moms and moms to be in Canada. I heard of one's in the US, but once you tack on the duties, brokerage and shipping, the product becomes regular price and you aren't getting a deal. I went to the Baby Show and was so thrilled when I saw the Sweet Mommy Deals booth. I have already bought a handful of deals from them and I find their customer service wonderful. - Mom N' Tot Deals: It's tough to keep up with all the deals out there, I came upon this website on Facebook and 'liked' them and now when there are deals, they show up in my news feeds. They also have great coupons. http://www.momntotdeals.com/
- Cardswap: A great concept for saving! This website has two functions, you can buy gift cards for a discount OR you can sell gift cards that you have received and won't use. I know a lot of my readers love H&M and today there was a gift card for the store. 'Like' cardswap on Facebook so you get the feeds on the newest cards they are offering. http://www.cardswap.ca/
- Hautelook: Your favorite brands for cheaper prices, both baby and adult!!! I can not begin to tell you how much I loooove this site!! It is a US site, but they ship to Canada (yes they charge us duties BUT WORTH IT). The discounts are so good on your favorite brands (J brand, Splendid, Free People, Joe, 24/7 to name a few), that even with the duties tacked on, its still cheaper (most of the time). I have bought Frankie a bunch of things and of course myself. If you really want to save, find a friend who equally loves to shop and place orders together and split the shipping and duties. One problem, you have 15 minutes to make a decision once the item goes into your shopping cart. Items sell out quick!! http://www.hautelook.com/
- Mother of a Deal: Another great website that lets you know what the deals are. It seems they always have the best deals. Make sure to 'like' them on facebook so you get the deals in your daily feed. http://www.motherofadeal.com/
- Baby and You: They run contests, have a mom community and post flyers. 'Like' Baby and You on facebook to get all their posts in your daily feed.
Coupons
- Websaver: Here's a great way to save a few bucks here and there! Websaver has great coupons for all your personal and household needs. I check in every few days to see what they have new and all you have to do is click on the ones you want and they will mail them. 'Like' them on Facebook to get the newest coupons in your daily feed. http://www.websaver.ca/
- P&G Brand Saver: DIAPER COUPONS!! This is a great website to sign up to because they always have Pamper products coupons and who doesnt love diapers on sale! They have tons of gret brands with decent savings. http://www.brandsaver.ca/
- Save.ca: I am new to this coupon website, but they seem to have a few good one's. http://www.save.ca/
Freebies
- P&G Brand Sampler: This is my favorite website for freebies! They have the best brands! Sign up to this website and when they have their sampler pack, you will be sent something by email to choose the samples you want. One thing, they go quickly so you have to act fast. www.pgbrandsampler.ca/
- The Frugal Shopper: This is a new one for me. I just found it and so far I like what I see. She has everything on her site: contests, flyers, coupons, instore sales etc. www.frugalshopper.ca/
- Free Baby Stuff: 'Like' them on facebook and you will get daily updates on coupons, sales etc. http://www.freebabystuff.ca/
- Free Samples Canada:I really like this website as I think they always have great and different freebies. www.freesamples-canada.com/
- Canadian Free Stuff: Similar to the ones above, this website is great because it has deals, contests, freebies, coupons and best of all product reviews under one roof. http://www.canadianfreestuff.com/
- Women Freebies: I have been introudced to this website today and they had great coupons ie. Fisher price, costumes and more. 'Like' them on facebook to get updates in your daily feeds. womenfreebies.ca/

- Baby Center: I signed up for this website when I was pregnant getting weekly emails on Frankie was growing and I still get updates as to milestones, games to play with your baby, toys etc. www.babycenter.ca/
